born in 1937 in Witten. He grew up in Dortmund, completed 1953 to 1956 trained as a blacksmith. Then he was until 1961 a blacksmith in the main cabin Westphalia in Dortmund. From 1975 to 1994 he worked as a teacher at a special school for the disabled in Wesel. Harald Rethka lives with his family in the Lower Rhine Issel castle.
